The Living Room

Oh, The Living Room , it’s a little unfair I am writing about this place , coz I really am in love with this place. Owned by Mohan and Rohit (Rohit is one of the best console gamers I know , dunno much about Mohan though ;) ) this place is absolutely amazing.

Now before I end up sounding like a blonde….this place is amazing…the ambient lighting, the brick walled interiors , the large flat panel displays and the best of all the free chocolates. The Living Room is a console lounge with the big three consoles ; the X BOX 360 , the PS3 and the Wii. There is enough consoles for everybody and more importantly their game catalog isn’t limited to the fragging games….there’s something for everybody.

nO THATS NOT ME ..thats some other guitar hero

My favourite game(s) here is the Guitar Hero series….they have most of the titles..and hopefully they’ll have the Rock Band series soon. Now both the owners are desi returns from the US of A and probably thats the reason why the decor seems very New Yorkish.  You can even have your birthday party here if you are a lil loaded in the pocket (I think the rates are pretty decent). And these kind folks hold  gaming competitions too!!! Since all the consoles are linked..you can play as a group too.

Now this place is absolutely alcohol and smoke free..which I think is a welcome change and also(more importantly) you are free to order your food from the food joints around the living room..the owners don’t mind you eating  given you don’t trash this place ( I remember Rohit asking us to help clean the place ….though I still think he was kidding)

Now that's BIG

This was my favourite after college (or sometimes during college ) hangout , now that college is over I surely will have to make reunion trips here with the rest of my fellow josephites.
